Senior Medical Officer



New Crystal Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Medical Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have broad clinical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality healthcare.

Job Description

Remuneration: As per GHS-SSSS (21H) with additional allowances



Key Responsibilities

•    Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations.

•    Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions and illnesses.

•    Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and other treatments.

•    Request, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory results.

•    Provide emergency and on-call medical services as required.

•    Participate in ward rounds, case reviews, and multidisciplinary clinical meetings.

•    Supervise and mentor nurses, physician assistants, and interns.

•    Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.

•    Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.

•    Contribute to quality improvement, infection prevention, and clinical audit initiatives.

•    Ensure adherence to medical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

•    Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB / MBBS) or equivalent.

•    Fully registered and licensed with the Medical and Dental Council or relevant body.

•    Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification clinical experience (hospital or primary care setting preferred).

•    Strong clinical judgment and decision-making ability.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•    Proficiency in patient documentation and medical software (where applicable).

•    Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The Dietician is responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing individualized meal plans, and promoting healthy eating habits to support treatment, recovery, and overall wellness. The role ensures that dietary services meet medical, cultural, and nutritional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field

•    Valid professional license/registration

•    Minimum of 1–3 years clinical experience

•    Knowledge of therapeutic diets and medical nutrition therapy

•    Good communication and counseling skills

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team


Salary: As per SSS (18L) with other incentives

Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and management of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with health and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities

1.    Install, test, and commission new medical equipment.

2.    Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks on medical devices.

3.    Diagnose and repair faulty biomedical equipment.

4.    Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and equipment inventory.

5.    Train healthcare staff on the proper use and handling of medical equipment.

6.    Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

7.    Recommend replacement of obsolete or irreparable equipment.

8.    Liaise with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and procurement.

9.    Support procurement by evaluating technical specifications of new equipment.

10.    Respond promptly to emergency equipment breakdowns.
